Probability Distributions
A probability distribution is a listing of all possible outcomes, or events with a probability assigned to each outcome. Let’s use a stop light as an example, if during one cycle of the stop light is red 30 seconds, green 25 seconds, and yellow 5 seconds

As you approach the intersection with stoplight, the chance of coming upon red, green or yellow is: 50%, 42%, and 5% respectively.
